Death and Love
which will be any day now
I have been expecting it
and to feel finally defeated
untouchable
who shouldn’t love again
too many bereavements
depleted
finally abandoned
undeserving of love.
I have a sudden insight
not fewer
I should know
and get to know
more
on my wavelength
the same humour
music food
understanding
deaths
as there will be
I will still have
who love me.
